Electric bicycles

New advances in battery technology and bike design make today's e-bikes or electric bikes better than ever.  An e-bike helps flatten out the hills by reducing the physical effort needed on a bicycle which means being able to avoid arriving hot and sweaty while still getting some exercise.   An electric bike costs more than a bicycle but is still a very cheap form of transport.  Under EU law, pedal assisted electric bicycles are legally restricted to 15 mph. on public roads.  Grey imports may not be road legal in the UK.
